Why I’m excited about Conversational AI

One of the most common questions I get asked is “Why are you so excited about Conversational AI?”

Here’s why.

Conversational AI is changing the computing paradigm with a shift in not just how we see machines but how machines see us. 👀

Historically, humans have had to learn the way of the machine.
“Great website!” – but we had to find our way around to get to what we wanted.
“New app on my phone!” – but we had to learn how to navigate, what to touch and what not to.
“Fab tool!” – but we had to learn the command to awaken the genie.

We were always expected to learn the language of the machines to get the job done.

Conversational AI is a game-changer. Machines are to now learn our ways of communication. AI Engineers teach machines to learn the interaction patterns of humans. For a change, machines are reading the documentation; not us.

The spotlight is back on the most natural and intuitive form of interaction that humans have ever known – Conversation. 💬

For once, in history, humans and machines are speaking the same language. 🧍🤖
