Bots for UN SDGs

Can bots impact social good?
Can bots take action on United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?

UN SDG 13 deals with Climate Action. Climate change and local air quality are two sides of the same coin. Perhaps something to think about as the world opens up, slowly, post-pandemic.

In more than 800 counties across the nation, air pollution levels are measured daily and ranked on a scale of 0 for perfect air all the way up to 500 for air pollution levels that pose an immediate danger to the public.

Newspapers, radio, television, and websites report AQI (Air Quality Index) levels year-round. Keeping track of the current air quality information can help you take steps to protect yourself, your children, and others from unhealthy levels of air pollution.

AQI is used by government agencies to communicate to the public how polluted the air currently is or how polluted it is forecast to become. Public health risks increase as the AQI rises.

Using the Microsoft Bot Framework Composer, you can build a chatbot to monitor the AQI of your city, in low code and in less time.
