On the occasion of National Photography Day (Aug 19), my son presented a talk at school on the late photographer, Danish Siddiqui.
Excerpt: “Danish Sidiqqui never took photographs. He made photographs. Every photograph is a story that we fail to put into words. When he had his camera in hand, he knew no fear. A photograph is the only pause button in life. It is the only way we can time travel to the past. It is the only universal language we understand, no matter who we are or where we’re from.”
Let’s take.. well, make good photographs, today and always 🙂
