The Terminal

“I Wait!”

The iconic retort by the protagonist from a small Eastern European country who’s stranded at the JKF airport, NY.

The adaptation of a true story, The Terminal is about what a foreign civilian did, while he was trapped for months at an airport lounge

Well he did more than just pull out that chair of Resilience and make himself comfortable

He practiced patience, nurtured new friendships, exercised his ingenuity, and learned new skills

His personal standards of morality and compassion not compromised by his circumstances, he Waited

I wish I’d seen this 2004 Steven Spielberg masterpiece earlier

Great lessons for those of us who grieved the lockdown life, this past year

If there’s anything we can learn from Victor Navroski and this pandemic, it is the Art of Productive Waiting
